# Adding boards and items to your dashboard

Add boards to your dashboard and create new tasks within your Kanban view.

### Adding board to a dashboard

* To add boards choose the **"Edit Dashboard"** option and then **"Add boards"**.
* Select the boards you want to add from the list.
* The boards will now appear in your dashboard.

### Adding items to your kanban view

* To add items click on **the card** in which you want to add items.
* Select the property of card in which you want to add item.
* Add what you want and click outside the card.
